In Italy the amputation for aesthetic sense is forbidden. Therefore, the owners of dogs bred in Italy and born after 04.12.2010 with the cropping of ears (conchectomy), must present an ORIGINAL veterinary certificate with the medical motivations having determined the amputation.

The owners will have to deliver the certificates that will be sent to the Italian National Federation of Italian Veterinarians (FNOVI).

ENCI will report any illegal to Judicial Authority.
